Application:
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (MKP) is an efficient potassium-phosphorus compound fertilizer. It contains 86% of fertilizer elements and is a basic raw material for N, P, and K compound fertilizers. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be used in fruits, vegetables, cotton and tobacco, tea, and cash crops to improve product quality and greatly increase yields.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate meets crops’ phosphorus and potassium requirements during the growth period. It slows down the aging process of functional leaves and roots of crops, maintains larger photosynthetic leaf area and vigorous physiological functions, and synthesizes more photosynthesis.
As a nitrogen-free fertilizer, it is common to see it in the early stages of growth, when root establishment requires large amounts of phosphorus and potassium. Implementing MKP during the production phase of sugar-rich fruit crops helps increase the sugar content and improve its quality.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (MKP) can be used with other fertilizers to meet the crop’s nutritional requirements throughout its growth cycle. Its high purity and water-solubility make MKP an ideal fertilizer for irrigation and foliar applications. In addition, MKP is suitable for the preparation of fertilizer blends and the production of liquid fertilizers. MKP can be used as a powdery mildew inhibitor as a foliar spray.
MKP is recommended as a source of phosphorus and potassium, while the nitrogen content should be kept at a low level. Due to its unique properties, MKP can be applied through any irrigation system and growth medium. Unlike phosphoric acid, MKP is moderately acidic. Therefore, it is not corrosive to fertilizer pumps or irrigation equipment.
